Alyson has worked for 25 years as a clinical psychologist in a diverse array of areas including community health, rehabilitation psychology, youth cancer, community drug and alcohol, older persons mental health and private practice.
At Stella Health, Alyson works with adults, and has specific interests in working with veteran's, injured workers, NDIS and older adult's mental health.
Alyson believes that effective, compassionate care should be available to all, and therefore is more than happy to bulk bill clients experiencing financial hardship.
Treatment is evidenced based and may include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Positive Psychology, depending on the nature of your concern.

Jennifer Fisher Clinical Psychologist
Jennifer is a registered Clinical Psychologist with experience across a wide range of psychological issues. Jennifer has worked as a psychologist in a variety of areas including, NSW Health, headspace, non-government organisations, and private practice. Jennifer has a particular interest in the assessment and treatment of eating disorders and body image concerns. Jennifer is trained and experienced in both individual and family therapy for eating disorders and provides a person-centred approach to therapy. Jennifer is experienced in cognitive-behaviour therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, schema therapy for eating disorders, and motivational approaches. Jennifer is also a registered counsellor through Victims Services.

Ian Johnsen Psychologist
Ian is a family therapist and registered psychologist who is passionate about working for individuals and communities in a manner that promotes dignity and acknowledges human agency. For over 30 years, Ian has worked for people who have been socially marginalised and with families and youth facing adversity and seen as ‘at risk’ by child protection. Ian believes that working ‘at the coalface’ keeps him humble, curious and committed.
Ian has also enjoyed the opportunity to work with a wide range of other people in child protection, immigration and citizenship, early intervention, women’s health, youth support and residential services. He provides counselling, supervision and reflective practice consultation and has delivered training for several Government Departments and many Non-Government Agencies, including the Australian Psychological Society.
Among his colleagues, Ian is known for his interest in ‘Solution-Focused Brief Therapy’ and ‘Response Based Practice’ and for finding creative ways to gently contest pathologising and labelling practices.
Ian considers himself fortunate to learn from others committed to social justice, particularly from people who are responding to violence and other forms of adversity.

Annie Bovard Clinical Psychologist
Annie is a clinically trained psychologist with extensive experience in the assessment and management of a wide range of psychological difficulties experienced by children, families, adolescents and adults. Annie’s therapeutic work is informed by attachment theory and patterns within families. Annie utilises evidence-based approaches including Psychodynamic Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Systemic Therapy, and Mentalisation Based Therapy.
Annie has specialist training and a particular interest in working with:
